According to a Websters Dictionary...
The definition of normal is to be free from mental illness.
What the hell is that supposed to be mean?

This started a conversation between me and a friend.
Apparently, being normal is to be sane.
But, most have claimed that people like Gandhi were insane. Martin Luther King was insane.
These people weren't sane, so they weren't normal?
But these people were so beautiful.
And they have influenced and shaped the world so much.
How could Normal be defined so?
Normal shouldn't have to be defined. For there really is no true meaning of normal. People were born different. Everyone was born unique. So, how could there even be definition of "normal."
How can people even claim to be "normal." How could we begin to fathom the true meaning of normal?
"Normal: To have normality."
Say what?
So basically, normal is being normal?
That explains a lot!
Apparently, normal just decribed itself.
So, what does normal really mean?
I guess that is up to the individual.
Our views all vary and are as unique as we are.
However we perceive normal, personally, is the true definition of normal.
I, personally, do not have a definition for normal.
Categorizing things into something as "normal" really irritates me. Truly, nothing should be categorized as normal. Never.
And what the hell is up with the whole "mental illness" thing? Should we take this as a scientific approach and should we dare say that not being "normal" means to have a "condition" such as, schizoprenia? Or multipule personalities? God what a load of bolshevik!
Or shoud we look at this from an ethical point of view? For example: I have heard many negative and bad things about homosexuality. And the thing I could consider the worst is the fact that it has been called an "illness". An illness.
Things like that blow my mind.
But as I said before.
I guess the defintion of the word normal is ambiguous. It really has no true meaning.
It just has to be defined by the individual.

Streching faces, melting clocks
Stomach knots, the spine it locks
Strangled by this fraying wire twisted sideways drifting higher
Round and round and around again
And to this night there is no end

I was walking down a scenic path,
enjoying the beauty of nature,
when inspiration swooped out of the sky,
and smacked me square in the face.
Dazed by the abrupt attack,
I found myself with a pounding headache,
full of fresh ideas.
Your photos are lovely
